Maintenance Technician

-Perform maintenance and repair tasks related to the facility, tools, equipment, and machinery.

-Coordinate with direct supervisor for any work to be performed by outside contractors and companies.

-Obtains approval from direct supervisor for any outside expenditures.

-Read schematics and drawings.

-Identify needed materials for each project and ensure parts required are.

-Follow proper procedures and safety rules. Report progress to immediate supervisor and request intervention to ensure completion to schedule.

-Maintain a safe workplace and ensure employees follow all safety rules.

-Attend and conduct safety and training meetings, analyze jobs to identify potential safety risks.

-Complete required documents and coordinate with team and department head.

-Be a role model in attendance, work ethic, time utilization and quality standards.

-Other duties as assigned.

-May be required to work 12 or more hours per day.

-May be required to work 6 or more days per week.

-Required to stand, sit, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, and twist for portion or duration of each work day.

-Motion requirements include walking, climbing stairs and ladders, grasping and squeezing, wrist flexion, reaching and overhead reaching for portion or duration of each work day.

-May be required to keyboard or operated/drive equipment for portion or duration of each work day.

-Work environment varies from cold to extreme hot

-Work environment requires confined space entry and working at heights over 6’ on ladders, scaffolds and platforms

-High School Diploma desired

-1 year maintenance preferred

-Driver's license preferred

-Competitive compensation will depend on experience, starting $18/hr

-8 hour shifts, Day shift, Monday to Friday
